About us

    Indira Gandhi Govt. College, Tohana was set up in July,1970 and it was taken over by the Govt. of Haryana on January 14, 1980. The College plays a key role to provide educational and cultural facilities for the upliftment of the students of this area.                       

    The College is co-educational institution accredited with "B" grade by NAAC Bangalore, There is no other college with in the area of 30 kms  which can fulfill the needs of the people of the area. This is the reason, that this college has its special importance.
             There are eighteen class rooms for teaching purpose, one Principal room , one staff room, two rooms for office work, one girls common room, one Edu-Sat room and a big library.

            The college has dedicated and qualified faculty.
