A well stocked and updated library is the backbone of any educational institution, which serves as a bank of information for the students and staff.

      The library occupies a place of pride and prominence in our college. It contains good number of books, periodicals and journals.  At present our library has 14336 books on its shelves covering a large range of subject. The text books section has several copies of various text books for the benefit of such who cannot afford to buy them. 18 Magazines remains available in the library to enhance the  latest knowledge of the students.

    It caters to the needs of all those who are knowledge thirsty. It also helps poor and needy students. Book can be got issued as per following rules:

  1. Books will be issued to the student for a period of 14 days only.

  2. A book can be got reissued if the same is not demanded by other students.

  3. A fine of Rs. 1/- per day per book will be charged for the books returned after due date. However if the due date falls on a holiday/holidays, the books should be returned on the first day of the opening of the college after holiday/holidays, failing which find will be charged from the due date.

  4. Reference books, Rare books. Periodicals will not be issued. These are available for consultation in the library against identity card.

  5. Students are required to have identity cards with them while inside the library.

  6. Books issued from the library should be kept very carefully and in no case be underlined or disfigured in any form. If the books is already damaged in any form, the fact should be brought to the notice of librarian, otherwise the responsibility of damage will lie with the student concerned.

  7. The loss of book should be reported to the librarian before the due date, in the omission of which usual fine will be charged till the information is given. The borrower will be required to replace that lost book or he/she will have to pay the current price of the book immediately in case the book is not replaced.

  8. Students are expected to observe perfect silence in the library. No outsider is allowed to sit in the library without the permission of the Librarian/Principal.

  9. In case of loss of original identity card, student can get duplicate identity-cum-library card after lodging F.I.R. and on the payment of Rs. 20/-.

  10. Students may submit their requirement of any book at the counter of library.


Value-added Library Facilities

   a.  Reading room with sitting capacity of 150 students.

   b.  Partial Computerization of the library has already been done.

   c.  Xerox  Facilities are available in the library.

   d.  College has a book bank for the poor & needy students.

   e.  Meritorious students are issued extra books from the library.
